Making crystals and all about snow crystals

So, we're progressing with our Christmas notebook looking this week at snow crystals using this fabulous website. Ben cut snowflakes out of paper and both have used the virtual snowflake maker to produce some very pretty and original designs.

We also made a couple of crystal stars which look beautiful, very sparkly, using a solution of Borax (by far the best substance, in my opinion, for producing excellent crystals every time).
